Misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines continue to spread. Currently, false information about vaccine’s potential impact on fertility has been spreading on social media, specifically Facebook. Dr. Laura Riley, Obstetrician and Gynecologist-in-Chief of the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, spoke with CNBC about the issue. Dr. Riley stated, “There’s no reason to suspect that the vaccine and any component of the vaccine will harm your fertility, decrease your fertility, etc.”
