Returning in 2024: The African American Cultural Expo and Children’s Book Festival

The African American Cultural Expo and Children’s Book Festival is back for another year! 

The African American Cultural Expo and Book Festival, hosted in Silver Spring, Maryland is family friendly cultural arts expo and festival hosted by the National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc. The event features music, arts & crafts, storytelling, children’s book authors, cultural arts vendors, and fun for the entire family. Our July 2023 expo garnered over 3000 registrants and attendees. Grammy-Nominated Children’s Entertainer, Author & Educator – Culture Queen was our featured Mistress of Ceremonies. Hosted at the Silver Spring Civic Center, this event is an opportunity to engage thriving families in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
