This Reparations Information Thought Series examines three Harm Reports from New York, New Jersey and Lakeland, Maryland, and explores how documenting historical wrongs, tracing their continuing impacts, and identifying those responsible can help move communities from truth-telling to concrete reparative remedies. State and city government-commissioned reports as well as civil society organizations, can all undertake the essential work of building the factual record upon which reparative demands and remedies can rest.
