National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc. Launches #BlackVoterReady Campaign for 2026 Midterm Elections

Washington, DC – OCT 13, 2026 – The National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc. (NBCI Trust) is proud to announce the launch of its #BlackVoterReady campaign, a nationwide education initiative designed to empower and inform Black American voters as the 2026 midterm elections approach. Building on NBCI Trust’s steadfast advocacy and commitment to amplifying Black voices and civic engagement, this campaign will equip voters with essential resources and timely information for effective participation in the democratic process.
#BlackVoterReady provides accessible guides on voter registration, polling locations, early voting, mail-in voting, and strategies to identify and fact-check election disinformation. A coalition of dynamic content creators and influencers will amplify the campaign’s mission, sharing educational resources across digital platforms and community events to reach voters nationwide.
“The Black Voter Ready Campaign ensures that our communities are informed and equipped with the information that they need in order to participate in the democratic process. It is imperative that the voices of Black voters are heard. Our communities are suffering and we need change in a positive direction immediately. Our votes matter and we need as many as possible to protect the future of Black America,” said Jessica Ann Mitchell Aiwuyor, Executive Director of the National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc.
