Protect Black History with the National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc.

The Protect Black History Initiative is a project of the National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc.  that works to preserve and share Black history by distributing books about Black history, culture, and excellence. The project aims to counter efforts to limit the teaching of Black history, protect access to culturally affirming educational materials, and empower future generations by ensuring they can learn their history and legacy.

The Initiative focuses especially on states and cities facing book bans or restrictions on inclusive education; ensuring children, families, educators, and community groups still have access to accurate history.

Black history is WORLD history, and it must be protected, shared, and celebrated.

Give today to ensure every child has access to their history and legacy.

Together, we will keep our stories alive.

We refuse to let history be erased.
