Halycon Westmaas

Halycon Westmaas is a Guyanese-American artist, fashion designer and women’s rights activist. She earned her Master’s in Pan-African Studies from Syracuse University and holds a certificate in Intensive Gender and Development Studies Training Program, University of the West Indies. Halycon has held many art exhibitions in Guyana and the USA. More recently she exhibited her work in November 2018 at Fenimore art Museum, NY. Her other interests include counseling, tutoring, and interior decorating.
